Basic use of templates

The most basic use of Photo Layout is to allow you to simply drag and drop your digital images into pre created templates.

Once you have added as many different layouts to your album as you desire, you can print the images to your printer at home or the office, upload the images for printing by professional photo finishing lab, upload the images to photo sharing site, or save the entire album to disk for later editing by Photo Layout.

Selecting a template

To select a template, browse the available categories in the template category frame.

Once you have clicked on the category you desire, thumbnails for all of the available templates for that category will be displayed in the templates collection.

Clicking on a template thumbnail will bring this template up in the Active Layout frame.

Choosing your pictures folder

When you are working with your active layout, you will drag and drop images from the pictures frame into placeholders in the template.

You should select the folder that contains the images you wish to use by pressing the select folder button at the bottom of the frame.
